Welcome

I am grateful for the opportunity to have served the citizens of Orange County as Judge for the past 11 years. You placed your faith and trust in me when you elected me in 2000 to replace an incumbent judge. I have strived to maintain your trust in me by working diligently, both on and off the bench.

In the Courtroom, I have worked tirelessly to maintain fair and professional proceedings, while addressing thousands of cases each and every year. I have served the citizens by presiding over both criminal and civil matters.

I believe strongly in giving back to the community. I have enjoyed my community outreach efforts in the courthouse and out in the community. I frequently speak to students in their elementary, middle, high school, college, and law school classrooms. My husband of 18 years, Marc Plogstedt, and our four teenage daughters, are dedicated members of our local community. We have been active in education, Girl Scouts, arts, music, and sports. My husband is a hard working small business owner. We have taught our daughters the values of hard work and commitment.
